Meet the Flight “Crew”

Angela Brown is the founder and owner of TopFlight Farm (est. 2022), based in rural Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She is a canine sports massage therapist specializing in performance-driven care for canine athletes, with advanced training in trigger point therapy, sports massage, and strength and conditioning.

Angela brings a unique, well-rounded background to her work, including pre-medical studies and veterinary technician experience, which informs her thoughtful, anatomy-based approach to bodywork. She began her professional massage practice three years ago and has since worked with hundreds of dogs, building a strong, trusted client base that includes national- and world-level competitors.

Angela recognized a need for intentional maintenance, recovery, and conditioning to support peak performance and durability in sport dogs. Her work emphasizes targeted assessment, precise manual therapy, and ongoing athlete support, rather than “feel-good” massage alone.

Angela has provided sports massage services for canine athletes at major events, including EOTT 2025 practice, and continues to pursue ongoing education to refine her skills and stay at the forefront of canine performance care.

She lives in Chapel Hill with her four dogs—Mona Lisa, Lilly, Graphene, Groot and Snapdragon—who keep her deeply connected to life as a handler and competitor. Agility is the primary sport at TopFlight Farm, and performance, longevity, and partnership are always the goal.

Joined the team March 2, 2020

Our first crew member- a playful and loving soul with a carefree disposition, she is a tri-color Bernedoodle from South Florida who brought me to our agility journey! She loves hiking, people, and has earned the name “the Huntress” due to her innate ability to tree possums, chase squirrels and see deer on the farm at the slightest movement. She plays at agility and is mostly our teams biggest cheerleader!

Joined the team July 25, 2022

After a short introduction to agility, Lily, a smooth coat black and white border collie, began her transition from a working herding dog to a full time agility partner with me. She and I have made great strides in the sport and have already acquired strong placements in competition. She loves the sport and working with me as a team. She is “My Shadeux” being always at my side everywhere I go!! And watch out for her stiletto tongue kisses!!

Sagehill Spot On The Future of Awesome!

What an agility wonder! Many may know Graphene, from the amazing Sage Hill line. She joins Topflight bringing award winning experience to strengthen the team and help me navigate this incredible sport-agility. She is a rough coat tri-color border collie with amazing freckles.

Sagehill Spot On Guardian of the Galaxy!

I AM GROOT! Groot is a red merle Border Collie! As a matter of fact “groot” in Dutch means “BIG” and Groot will be a BIG boy. He is playful, strong, smart and a natural in sports. I am so excited to watch his budding athleticism become a force of nature to be reckoned with in this sport -agility! We are Groot!!

Magnolia Ridge Farm Wyldflower Gambit

SNAP! She is sweet, swift, spirited and bursting with personality, Snapdragon is far more than a pretty face-she's the full package and she is just getting started! A lot of thought went into her name which captures everything she is; everything she is going to be and all the potential she holds:

Wyldflower — a nod to her natural beauty, grace and mischievous energy,

Gambit — a clever, strategic charmer — Snapdragon is already learning with speed and precision.

I am excited to start our sports journey — blooming in every moment.
